Down for awhile

We were down for awhile and it took me weeks to figure out what brought down the server and it was a weird problem.  I even went as far as calling support for my provider thinking that they were blocking my port which they weren't.  I purchased new web server software and just recently stumbled on the problem.  Turns out the network card lost it's way. I don't know if some software corrupted it or what but after redoing a couple of settings it magically started working.  I will have to keep my eye one it and some of my other sites are still not up but that's a different issue all together.
