Last night I saw John McCain blame himself for loosing the election saying that he failed. My friends this is not John McCains fault. John had a very huge hill to climb. I grabbed this article from the Wall Street Journal. It tells a lot about what we have done to our own party by allowing the Liberals and MSM to mount such vicious attacks on our President. Our President, the President of the Free World. One Nation Under God. The second line says "What must our enemies be thinking?" I need to add to that "What must our friends be thinking?" As a nation I believe we let our President down, and surely this is why the GOP suffered such a horrible defeat.
Treatment of Bush Has Been a Disgrace
What must our enemies be thinking?
By JEFFREY SCOTT SHAPIRO
Earlier this year, 12,000 people in San Francisco signed a petition in support of a proposition on a local ballot to rename an Oceanside sewage plant after George W. Bush. The proposition is only one example of the classless disrespect many Americans have shown the president.
APAccording to recent Gallup polls, the president's average approval rating is below 30% -- down from his 90% approval in the wake of 9/11. Mr. Bush has endured relentless attacks from the left while facing abandonment from the right.
This is the price Mr. Bush is paying for trying to work with both Democrats and Republicans. During his 2004 victory speech, the president reached out to voters who supported his opponent, John Kerry, and said, "Today, I want to speak to every person who voted for my opponent. To make this nation stronger and better, I will need your support, and I will work to earn it. I will do all I can do to deserve your trust."
Those bipartisan efforts have been met with crushing resistance from both political parties.
The president's original Supreme Court choice of Harriet Miers alarmed Republicans, while his final nomination of Samuel Alito angered Democrats. His solutions to reform the immigration system alienated traditional conservatives, while his refusal to retreat in Iraq has enraged liberals who have unrealistic expectations about the challenges we face there.
It seems that no matter what Mr. Bush does, he is blamed for everything. He remains despised by the left while continuously disappointing the right.
Yet it should seem obvious that many of our country's current problems either existed long before Mr. Bush ever came to office, or are beyond his control. Perhaps if Americans stopped being so divisive, and congressional leaders came together to work with the president on some of these problems, he would actually have had a fighting chance of solving them.
Like the president said in his 2004 victory speech, "We have one country, one Constitution and one future that binds us. And when we come together and work together, there is no limit to the greatness of America."
be sure, Mr. Bush is not completely alone. His low approval ratings put him in the good company of former Democratic President Harry S. Truman, whose own approval rating sank to 22% shortly before he left office. Despite Mr. Truman's low numbers, a 2005 Wall Street Journal poll found that he was ranked the seventh most popular president in history.
Just as Americans have gained perspective on how challenging Truman's presidency was in the wake of World War II, our country will recognize the hardship President Bush faced these past eight years -- and how extraordinary it was that he accomplished what he did in the wake of the September 11 attacks.
The treatment President Bush has received from this country is nothing less than a disgrace. The attacks launched against him have been cruel and slanderous, proving to the world what little character and resolve we have. The president is not to blame for all these problems. He never lost faith in America or her people, and has tried his hardest to continue leading our nation during a very difficult time.
Our failure to stand by the one person who continued to stand by us has not gone unnoticed by our enemies. It has shown to the world how disloyal we can be when our president needed loyalty -- a shameful display of arrogance and weakness that will haunt this nation long after Mr. Bush has left the White House.
Mr. Shapiro is an investigative reporter and lawyer who previously interned with John F. Kerry's legal team during the presidential election in 2004.

Barack Obama states at every rally that the Bush Tax Plan cuts taxes for the wealthy so he will let that plan expire. So I decided to take a look at the Bush Tax Plan to "cut taxes for the wealthy."
Take a look at this chart from WhiteHouse.gov.
Since Obama is talking about single income let's look at those figures.
- Those making up to $6000 had their taxes reduced by 5%
- Those making $6000 to $27,050 had their taxes reduced by a whopping 13%.
- Those making $27,050 to $136,750 had their taxes reduced by 6%
- And those making $136.750 and up had their taxes reduced by 3% to 6.6%
To me it looks like those making in the $6000 to $136,750 got the biggest tax cuts. I could be wrong but I don't think those folks are "the wealthy."
Part of Barack Obama's tax cut plan is to let the Bush Tax Plan expire which will raise your taxes to the pre-Bush level. Except for this Obama doesn't say how much of a tax cut Americans will receive so we have to make some assumptions. Let's assume that Obama let's the Bush Tax Plan expire with is a HUGE possibility. Since we don't know at what rate he will give a tax cut we can only assume that he will take the Pre-Bush tax rate and go from there. We can now use the Tax Calculator on the Obama Tax Cut Website to see how much the Barack Obama tax cut will be.
Now this gets a interesting.
Using the tax calculator from his website I plugged in $30,000 with no exemptions. My "Tax Savings" as the calculator states would be $500.00. This I believe (since he doesn't really say) will go on the pre-Bush tax rate which he says he will let expire.
The Pre-Bush tax rate for $30,000 was 31% or $9300.00. The Bush Tax Plan cut taxes to $15% or $4500 on $30,000 a savings of $4800.00. So by letting the Bush Tax Cuts expire for those making $30,000 a year it would raise your taxes by $4800.00. Then his most generous tax saving as calculated by the "OBAMA TAX SAVINGS CALCULATOR" would be a whopping $500. This in my book is a tax increase from the Bush Tax Plan. So no matter what numbers you plug into the calculator by all means ALL Americans will see a TAX INCREASE from the Bush Tax Plan.
As you can see no matter at what income you are at it will raise your taxes. You will see your taxes raise from 3% to 13%.

No! I’m not talking about a Mafia type hit of taking someone out. I’m talking about far left personal attack on Republicans or those supporting Republicans. The latest is Cindy McCain. Today the New York Times has gone after Cindy with the latest hit piece. They even went as far as trying to get information from school children classmates of Ms. McCain’s children. And here I thought the candidates families were OFF LIMITS.

Barack Obama is condemning campaign rumors involving the children of candidates, including Republican vice presidential contender Sarah Palin. He says he will fire any campaign worker that violates his rule. Obama, speaking Monday to reporters in Michigan, said he thinks "people's families are off limits, and people's children are especially off limits."
I guess this doesn’t extend to those who endorse Obama. And I guess it’s ok to discredit someone who even asks a question like good ole Joe the Plumber. Obama’s minions have decided that they don’t like Joe because he brought attention to Obama’s Robin Hood tax plan of taking from the rich and giving to the poor also known as Welfare. At first he liked all the attention but now they have delved into his job, his personal finances, his divorce and even his name.
Has Barack come out and condemned these actions more than just a one liner saying that it’s inappropriate? Has he suggested that anyone be disciplined or fired because of it as he said he would do to anyone in his campaign?
Come on Senator Obama, live up to your words! Come out and strongly condemn these actions and ask for resignations or firings. Somehow I doubt that will happen.

Not to say that it's over because I think John has a very good chance of winning this election. But one thing that I think has hurt John McCains chances more than anything is GOP Public Relations. Let's face it, it has not been good. The Dem Nutroots have been very successful in tearing down the Bush Administration with unanswered attacks. I believe that this has hurt the GOP more than anything. There has been way too many unanswered attacks against George W. Bush who I think will go down in history as one of the best, yes I said it "ONE OF THE BEST" Presidents in history.
They state that Bush's failed policies have destroyed America and the American Dream. Yet for the first 7 1/2 years we had one of the best economies, with the lowest unemployment. There has been no, let me repeat that NO terror attacks against America. Osama Bin Laden is on the run and hiding in a cave. We beat Saddam Hussein and his army and we are about to turn Iraq back over to the Iraqis. Muhammad Qaddafi has given up all his WMD and became a peaceful nation. Korea has decided to discontinue their Nuclear ambitions. Yet we are to believe that George W. Bush was one of the worst Presidents.
It's been the past 2 1/2 years with a Democratic majority in Congress that things have gone down hill. So they want us to believe that it's ALL BUSH'S FAULT when it really been the Democrats in Congress who have been in control of our country. Just look at Congress' accomplishments in the past 2 1/2 years. Next to NOTHING.
So why hasn't the GOP answered any of the accusations of the far left? This to me has done more damage to the GOP than anything else. We need a good PR Machine. We need a good online network like the Nutroots. We need to get the word out, get the PR going. And I hate to say the, we need a "Community Organizer???!!!" (sic). I'm sure those attacks have been answered by not loudly enough to get through the Left Media Bias. Thus we're not making enough noise. Let's face it, those of us on the right aren't real big into activism.
The article Netroots left bias
By Markos Moultisas (Moulitsas is founder and publisher of Daily Kos) describes how the Nutroots organized into the smear machine they are today and why the right doesn't have anything similar.
We need to get our GOP PR on folks. We need the RIGHT out there in the news making news. One person that has energized the right is of course "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher which the NUTROOTS have gone after to make his life hell just for asking a simple question. I'm sure Joe wasn't out there to be an activist but just to get his question answered. But here you see a little PR can go a long way and that's what we need.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court is siding with Ohio's top elections official in a dispute with the state Republican Party over voter registrations.
The justices on Friday overruled a federal appeals court that had ordered Ohio's top elections official to do more to help counties verify voter eligibility.
Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat, faced a deadline of Friday to set up a system to provide local officials with names of newly registered voters whose driver's license numbers or Social Security numbers on voter registration forms don't match records in other government databases.
Ohio Republicans contended the information for counties would help prevent fraud. Brunner said the GOP is trying to disenfranchise voters.

What happens if Barack Obama wins Ohio by a slim margin? And what happens if he wins in all the battleground states by a thin margin. Will that be because of ACORN voter fraud? Will we ever know for sure. I'm sure we won't know in Ohio because the Supreme Court has decided that Ohio doesn't need to check for valid voters. We know that there is a lot of voter fraud going on there. My question is "Where's Jimmy Carter." Wasn't it Jimmy Carter who wanted to insure that there was no voter fraud in Iraq and in other third world countries yet his is miraculously silent about voter fraud in his own country.
Democrats are still angry and still believe that George W. Bush stole the election in 2000. So I believe that they believe that they must steal this election. And it looks like they are at least in Ohio succeeding.

Today ACORN is being investigated in 13 states for voter registration fraud. It’s all over the news at least some news. I just heard an ACORN representative deny any wrong doing. How can this be? And don’t you think that they are in every state and not just the battleground states? I’m sure we are seeing the tip of the iceberg. Besides prosecuting those involved in the fraudulent acts I believe that the feds should confiscate all voter registration cards and verify whether or not each card is a valid voter with no duplicates. Then reduce the vote count for that particular party one for one for the invalid registration. In other words if the feds find 500,000 invalid registration cards we must assume that there were 500,000 invalid votes. If ACORN is truly non-partisan then it would mean that both candidates would lose votes.
Everyone has the right to vote once per election. I don’t see a problem with an organization registering voters, as long as they register anyone who wants to vote. Not just voters from one side or the other. And any organization registering voters must not by law influence that voter to vote for any one person or issue. Wouldn’t it be the same as campaigning and putting up signs at the polling location which is currently illegal! The bottom line here is that I think most people want to see a fair fight. A win fair and square. Not by cheating and doing things that give an unfair advantage to one over another. If this continues to go on it will always be suspect that the election was stolen.

Let’s say I live in a neighborhood of $300,000 homes. I don’t but let’s just say that I do. I got a fixed rate mortgage which I can afford and pay for every month. However others in my neighborhood bought via one of those Subprime Mortgages and now are having problems paying their mortgage. From what I understand, the Federal Government will come in and devalue those homes so those who got into this mess can stay in their home. Now that the homes around me are valued at let’s say $150,000 won’t that now devalue my home? How am I going to be able to sell my home and recoup my investment? So not only have I lost all my 401K retirement investment I’m going to lose my real property investment.
Now if they do not devalue those properties but instead supplement those subprime borrowers mortgage payments shouldn’t they also supplement my mortgage payment even though I am able to make my payments? If they do not, then they are taking my taxes and giving it to my neighbor, which I believe goes against the Constitution?
It seems to me that by helping those who took advantage of those guerilla lending practices knowing that once that balloon payments came due that they would be unable to pay for that property they will do even more harm to the economy and America’s housing. You see once they start the ball rolling it doesn’t and can’t stop with the subprime borrowers.
This goes back to my belief that the right course of action is to not bailout or rescue lenders or even borrowers. Instead the Government is supposed to be there to protect Americans. Let those people default on their loans. Let the banks foreclose and take over those homes and resell them to people who can afford them. Protect those individual credit lines so that they can get into a home that they can afford. Yes it may mean that there will be many For Sale signs in neighborhoods and yes it may mean that property values will go down somewhat but should recover once those home are reoccupied.

Here is the SNL skit the left does not want you to see. So, Sarah Palin is fair game but we can't possibly spoof the people who are responsible for this ludicrous bailout. Hey, where's my bailout!!!

From University of Chicago Chronical
Author, former offender among speakers
By Jennifer Vanasco
Children who kill are called "super predators," "people with no conscience," "feral pre-social beings" -- and "adults."
William Ayers, author of A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court (Beacon Press, 1997), says "We should call a child a child. A 13-year-old who picks up a gun isn't suddenly an adult. We have to ask other questions: How did he get the gun? Where did it come from?"
Ayers, who spent a year observing the Cook County Temporary Juvenile Detention Center in Chicago, is one of four panelists who will speak on juvenile justice at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in the C-Shop. The panel, which marks the 100th anniversary of the juvenile justice system in the United States, is part of the Community Service Center's monthly discussion series on issues affecting the city of Chicago. The event is free and open to the public.
Ayers will be joined by Sen. Barack Obama, Senior Lecturer in the Law School, who is working to combat legislation that would put more juvenile offenders into the adult system; Randolph Stone, Director of the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic; Alex Correa, a reformed juvenile offender who spent seven years in Cook County Temporary Detention Center; Frank Tobin, a former priest and teacher at the Detention Center who helped Correa; and Willy Baldwin, who grew up in public housing and is currently a teacher at the Detention Center.
The juvenile justice system was founded by Chicago reformer Jane Addams, who advocated the establishment of a separate court system for children which would act like a "kind and just parent" for children in crisis.
One hundred years later, the system is "overcrowded, under-funded, over-centralized and racist," Ayers said.
Michelle Obama, Associate Dean of Student Services and Director of the University Community Service Center, hopes bringing issues like this to campus will open a dialogue between members of the University community and the broader community.
"Students and faculty explore these issues in the classroom, but it is an internal conversation," Obama said. "We know that issues like juvenile justice impact the city of Chicago, this nation and -- directly or indirectly -- this campus. This panel gives students a chance to hear about the juvenile justice system not only on a theoretical level, but from the people who have experienced it."
